ALL INDIA MEDUCARE WELFARE TRUST (AIMWEL TRUST) is a multifunctional private trust registered under the provisions of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 of the Government of India. It has been formed with the resolution and dedication of serving the nation and its citizens, contributing towards the all-round development of India, especially in rural and remote areas of our country.
As the word Meducare
has been adopted in its name
and
title with utmost care, it clearly indicates that the Trust is strongly devoted and
dedicated
to serving the nation in the fields of health and
education, social responsibility, and
employment and livelihood generation for a better India.
India is a vast country with diverse geography, terrain, people, culture, religion, practices, and economy, which makes India unique and a land of unity in diversity. Although since achieving independence from colonial British rule, many socio-developmental changes have been brought to the nation through the active role, support, and implementation of various government schemes, the ever-increasing population — which has made India the most populous country in the world, surpassing China — has made it more challenging for the government to raise the overall living standards of its citizens.
Moreover, the rising inflation and unemployment, along with insufficient medical, educational, training, and employment support and facilities, have created barriers to the overall development of the nation and its citizens.
Although it is a herculean task for any trust or non-governmental organization to eradicate these problems completely, All India Meducare Welfare Trust has taken the initiative, considering it its duty and responsibility towards the nation, to contribute and provide a helping hand to the efforts and vision of the government through its various welfare schemes as part of its nation-building programs.
Thus, considering it the need of the hour, and in order to contribute its services for the overall socio-development of society and the nation, the All India Meducare Welfare Trust has launched the Meducare India Card for the welfare of humanity and the people of India.
The All India Meducare Welfare Trust has been envisaged by the author with the aim and objective of serving and contributing towards the development of our nation and its citizens, either independently or by coordinating with government agencies, and if required, by collaborating with other similar organizations.
To achieve its aims and objectives, the AIMWEL TRUST has launched a multi-welfare card under the project titled “Project Meducare India”, named the Meducare India Card. The Meducare India Card provides multiple benefits to members of the Trust while availing services in the fields of health, medicine, and education at our facilitation centres and collaboration points after obtaining the card through authorized volunteers/executives.
Apart from that, the Trust provides suitable job opportunities to eligible members after undergoing training under its projects and contributes to the economic development of our nation.
As part of Project Meducare India, the AIMWEL TRUST has collaborated with Generali Central Insurance Co. Ltd. for an IRDA-approved scheme called the “Hospicash Benefit Scheme” for its eligible members and Meducare Suraksha Card holders, to compensate for expenses related to health and hospitalization across India.
In order to provide necessary support and awareness in the fields of education, training, and employment for deserving citizens, the AIMWEL TRUST has collaborated and partnered with various educational institutions, including the AISECT Group of Institutions.
Additionally, to provide low-cost, quality diagnostic and lab testing facilities as well as hospitalization and medical support, the AIMWEL TRUST has partnered with various reputed hospitals and diagnostic centres.
To raise awareness regarding the multi-benefits under Project Meducare India, the AIMWEL TRUST has initiated the appointment of trained personnel to operate Meducare Jana Seva Kendras in various localities and to appoint trained volunteers/executives to work under them and earn suitable livelihoods.
